Haven Skye Davis, of Mason, is the 26-year-old daughter of Tom and Shelly Davis. Haven is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where she earned a Master of Science in Strategic Communications and Mass Communications, with a concentration on Sports Communication. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, with a major in Agriculture Communications and a minor in Agricultural Leadership. Haven plans to become a philanthropic consultant working with professional athletes to help them make a positive impact through charitable giving and community involvement. As someone who has been blessed with opportunities, Haven wants to use her passion for service and to assist those who have achieved great success figuring out how they can best give back.

While studying and OSU, Haven landed on the Dean’s List for fall of 2019. Prior to her secondary education studies, Haven participated in 4-H and FFA where she won a multitude of awards; 2018 American FFA Degree, 2017 Oklahoma FFA State Degree, 2017 Northwest district Livestock Show Division II Champion and Reserve Champion Steer, and the 2014 Oklahoma 4-H Key Club recipient. She was the 2016 Hunter Hack Reserve Champion, fifth place in Pole Bending and tenth place Ranch Ground Handling at the 2015 Southern Regional 4-H Horse Show. She was also the 2015 Oklahoma State 4-H Senior Champion Barrel Racer. While in 4-H and obtaining her degrees at OSU, Haven had the opportunity to travel to eight different countries which allowed her to learn about agriculture around the world! Outside of 4-H and FFA, Haven enjoyed cheerleading and running cross country. She earned the 2017 8-Man All Star Cheerleader and Scholarship, was a 2015 All-American Cheerleader, and received the 2A Cross Country Bronze Team medal.

Haven has held many rodeo queen titles throughout her life including the First Runner-Up Miss Rodeo USA 2024, Miss Rodeo Sallisaw 2021, Miss American Cowboys Rodeo Association 2020, and Miss Great Salt Plains Stampede Rodeo 2016. She enjoys barrel racing, breakaway roping and working on team roping as a heeler. She also enjoys participating gin team penning, sorting, cutting, and boxing. Through the agricultural and rodeo industries, Haven learned early on the value of honesty, responsibility, teamwork, and integrity. She will have the opportunity to pass on this knowledge and passion to others she meets this year.

Haven will travel across the U.S. promoting Illinois, professional rodeo, agriculture, and the western way of life.  She will go on to compete for the coveted Miss Rodeo America crown this December held in conjunction with the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. The Miss Rodeo America pageant is a weeklong pageant where state titleholders compete in the areas of appearance, horsemanship, and personality. This pageant has been offering women the opportunity to create solid foundations for their future endeavors, since 1955. Miss Rodeo America has become a part of a great legacy and part of rodeo history.

Keep up with her Travels!
