Taylor Mouser, 16, of Vandalia is a student at Ignitia Online Academy where she has been recognized each semester for being on the honor roll. She enjoys taking scuba diving classes working to earn her deep diver certification and reading non-fiction books in her free time. Taylor likes showing at local horse shows, volunteering at horsemanship clinics, and doctoring cattle in the pasture. She also enjoys participating in stockmanship clinics. She prides herself in helping a local trainer with teaching riding lessons, as well as helping with a yearly horse camp. Taylor also enjoys roping to advance her western skills and has placed in the top two at many ranch-riding shows. Taylor is still deciding on what she wants to pursue after graduating high school but is very passionate about equine therapy and helping people with disabilities. Being Miss Teen Rodeo Illinois 2024, Taylor will travel across the state promoting Illinois, agriculture, rodeo, and the western way of life!
