Become the next Miss Rodeo Illinois

Who: Young ladies ages 20-26 who have a passion for equine, rodeo, and agriculture! (or 13-18 for our Teen division!)

 

Miss Rodeo Illinois Pageant Association works to select a Miss and a Teen Ambassador of Good Will with horsemanship skills who will promote a positive image of Professional Rodeo (PRCA) and the western way of life, keeping education, leadership and personal growth in the forefront and doing so with the highest level of integrity.​

 

What: Miss Rodeo Illinois and Miss Teen Rodeo Illinois Pageant

 

Where: Palestine, Illinois in conjunction with the Pioneer City Rodeo

 

The pageant is held during the Pioneer City Rodeo in Palestine, Illinois. The first Pioneer City Rodeo was held fifty-three years ago on a baseball field in Leaverton Park. The old wooden seats purchased then held only about 3,000 spectators and the ball field lights provided illumination for the night performances. Today, The Pioneer City Rodeo is one of the premier PRCA Rodeos in Illinois. Welcoming 4,500 rodeo fans every year on Labor Day Weekend. 

 

When: Labor Day Weekend - Aug 29 - 31, 2025

 

Why: Become Illinois' First Lady of Professional Rodeo, and travel the US and Canada representing the Prairie State! Compete at the Miss Rodeo America Pageant held in conjunction with the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas! 

 

 $1,500 educational scholarship awarded to Miss Rodeo Illinois 2026 after the completion of her reign. 

 

What you'll need throughout the application:

 

•  Information about yourself

• Social media handles

• Emergency contact information

• Photograph copyright release form

Understanding of the following:

• Equine activity waiver

• Release of liability

• Contestant eligibility

The following uploaded documentation:

• Copy of birth certificate or registration of birth

• Copy of health and/or medical insurance

• Proof of residency

• One (1) 8 x 10 vertical color head-and-shoulders photograph

    --- If currently holding a title, please omit queen attire

    --- Headshot should be in western attire, including a cowboy hat

 

Entry form deadline is July 15th at 11:59 PM CST. 

 

Entries must be accompanied with a $200 entry fee, postmarked by July 15th and mailed to:
