The Cord McCoy PRCA Rodeo in Du Quoin, IL was two days filled with fun and meeting so many kind people. On Friday I met with Miss Teen Rodeo Illinois 2023, Danielle Chase, to sign autographs and meet rodeo fans as they came in. The McCoy family and the fairgrounds staff made us feel so welcome! The rodeo performance had special guest Dusty Dickerson Trick riding. We are so lucky to have Dusty in the state of Illinois! She is such a talented performer. After the rodeo, I had the opportunity to meet the country music singer, Scotty McCreery and enjoy his concert! On the second day, Miss Teen Rodeo Illinois and I had the privilege to help carry sponsorship flags between events. We also got to meet several of the local and state law enforcement helping with the event. It was so great to be able to meet and learn from them about their job. The second country music star, Justin Moore, played after the rodeo. It was a fun show to watch from the arena dirt! I am so thankful for the incredible experience I got to have right here in Illinois!
